(HOLLYWOOD PRESS CORPS) — Los Angeles, California — Robby Krieger and the Soul Savages at Vibrato Grill in Beverly Glen Tuesday night. The crowd was thrilled to see Robby and the band. This was a night of laid-back jazz and rock with some blues. Robby Krieger had his trademark SG. He lead the team with Ed Roth on keyboards, Franklin Vanderbilt III on drums and the legendary Kevin “Brandino” Brandon on bass.
They played “Red Rooster” with Robby on the slide guitar and people were really into it. They also played “Event Horizon” a song co written by Brandino. The place was packed. Everyone seemed really happy. Brandino really took it into outer space on a couple solos. Franklin Vanderbilt did a couple of amazing drum solos. Ed Roth had solos on the electric piano and a grand piano on Event Horizon.
It was so much fun seeing the Soul Savages. They just keep getting better. We look forward to the next show.
