(Hollywood, CA) – Ultimate Jam Night, the long-running free weekly music program founded by Quiet Riot’s Chuck Wright announced plans to hold a TRIBUTE TO LEMMY honoring the famed leader of Motorhead on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at the Whisky A Go Go. The show will be free.
The TRIBUTE TO LEMMY precedes the unveiling of a permanent Lemmy statue at the Rainbow Bar and Grill. Created by artist Travis Moore, the unveiling will be on Wednesday, August 24, 2016. Moore will also display his complete collection of Lemmy art work at the tribute.
Lemmy fans from around the world are expected to descend on the two days of Sunset Strip events. Thousands have already responded that they will be attending.
For the TRIBUTE TO LEMMY, some of Rock Music’s biggest “A list” players are expected to perform. Formal player announcements will be released in the coming days.
