The Hollywood Press Corps Attends the 7th Annual Da Vinci International Film Festival at the Grove in Los Angeles

(HOLLYWOOD PRESS CORPS) — Los Angeles, CA — On October 10th, 2025, the Hollywood Press Corps gathered for an exciting night at the seventh Da Vinci International Film Festival, held at the AMC Theatres at The Grove in Los Angeles. This year’s festival kicked off with a glamorous red carpet event, drawing attention from media outlets and film enthusiasts alike.

The evening began with an opening ceremony that set the stage for a night of cinematic celebration. The highlight of the night was the screening of “NAWI”, Kenya’s official Oscar selection for 2025, which showcased the rich storytelling and artistry from the African film industry. Following the screening, attendees were invited to a VIP reception, allowing for networking and discussions about the films and their impact.

A significant moment of the night was the premiere of “NAWI”, a film inspired by the Peltier family’s recent trip to Africa. Organizers Chadwick and Holly Peltier, along with their children, shared their motivation behind the film, which explores the harsh realities faced by families in Kenya who sell their children for livestock. The film aims to shed light on cultural practices and the struggles of these communities, making it both poignant and necessary viewing.

The red carpet was buzzing with excitement as the Peltier family welcomed a host of notable guests from the film and entertainment industry. Many well-known figures attended the event, adding a touch of glamour and prestige to the evening. Their presence enhanced the atmosphere, as they mingled with attendees and shared their thoughts on the festival and the films being showcased.
