Film lovers and independent creators are in for a treat as the Manhattan Neighborhood Network (509 W 38th St, New York, NY 10018) joins forces with Walter Krochmal’s Bronx World Film to present a dynamic art house short movies on Monday, August 24th, from 5:00 to 9:00 PM. The selection includes movies from the 2026 Cannes Filme Festival, 2026 International Sound and Film Music Festival in Croatia, and many submissions from around the world.
Beyond the screens, the event highlights a vital collaboration between the Bronx’s premier “roving cinémathèque” and Manhattan Neighborhood Network, Manhattan’s long-standing champion of community television and independent production since 1992.
The August 24th Manhattan event is serving as an exclusive teaser for the upcoming Bronx World Film Cycle. This four-hour marathon features sixteen compelling short films spanning eleven countries.
