“Drag Me to Joanne” is a vibrant drag and LGBTQIA+ friendly night hosted at Joanne Restaurant, the charming Italian trattoria owned by Lady Gaga’s family in the Upper West Side, in NYC.
Joanne Restaurant presents “Drag me to Joanne”, a drag show on Wednesdays. The “Emerging Artist Program” show happens every Thursday nights at the cozy NYC restaurant, fill up with locals.
I went to catch up tonight’s talent show that takes place on Thursdays, as Gabby Gabriel invited me.
Joe Germanotta, Lady Gaga’s father, launched his new media company Second Wind Media, partening with Gabby Gabriel.
“We support brands with: Brand Strategy, Social Media, Websites and more. We are the official media partner for the New York Television Festival, and International Film Festival. We are seeking opportunities,” Mr. Germanotta explained. In bocca al lupo!
We love Lady Gaga as she is a New Yorker. New York residents, we show up at Joanne: everyone is very friendly, they don’t rush us out and we eat those delicious Italian American dishes. Esse buono come il pane!
Those thematic evenings at Joanne’s are a family friendly affair where everyone can apply to perform.

Tonight, I particularly enjoyed performer Phebe Barnett, “a star is born” this way, young talented, not ruined by a bad romance, kind hearted singer and songwriter.
Phebe Barnett writes about feelings of young adults and personal connection. Many songs are deeply enchanting, drawing from her personal experiences. Her storytelling and evocative imagery has been praised by critics. Dire pane al pane e vino al vino!
Catch those events, often without a cover charge. Joanne Restaurant is a beloved fixture, offering a taste of tradition alongside a thrilling dose of modern artistry, making it a must-visit for anyone looking for a fun night out, in a dynamic and electric New York City.
