(un)conditional at SoHo Playhouse NYC –  Off-Broadway Show. September 19–October 26, 2025.

(un)conditional at the SoHo Playhouse dives headfirst into the messy, complicated world of relationships, pushing the boundaries of love and compromise.

Playwright Ali Keller’s work, which won the theater’s Lighthouse Series, is a bold and unflinching look at two couples whose marriages are tested when a dark sexual fantasy moves from the realm of imagination into reality.

The play is not about heroes or villains, but about very human journeys, exploring themes of trust, communication, and the ripple effects of adult decisions on a child.

This is a production that promises to be emotionally charged, sparking conversation long after the curtain falls.

The strength of (un)conditional lies in its willingness to tackle difficult subjects with an honest and direct approach. With a cast that includes Kate Abbruzzese, Brooks Brantly, Annalisa Chamberlin, and Nathan Darrow, and directed by Ivey Lowe, the production is poised to deliver a powerful and thought-provoking experience.

The collaboration with RAINN (Rape, Abuse and Incest National Network) further underscores the play’s commitment to handling sensitive material with care and respect.

This is the kind of edgy, contemporary theater that the SoHo Playhouse is known for, offering audiences a chance to “listen” to a story that challenges and resonates on a deeply personal level.

The production stars a talented cast of stage and screen actors. The ensemble features Kate Abbruzzese (The Blacklist), Brooks Brantly (Ghosts on CBS), Annalisa Chamberlin (Sex, Guaranteed on Amazon), Nathan Darrow (House of Cards on Netflix), and Georgia Waehler (The Night Agent on Netflix). They bring a wealth of experience from both theater and television.
