(HOLLYWOOD PRESS CORPS) — Hollywood, CA — Hollywood personality, filmmaker and director “Mr. Hollywood” Andrew PC Yevish will premiere a special double-feature gala featuring his feature film Fake It Til U Make It (FITUMI) and his new short film, Food for Thought, produced in conjunction with Hollywood Press Corps’ Dustin Brown and Mir Waiss Najibi.
The evening will take place at the Harmony Gold Preview House in Hollywood and will include both screenings, an open bar, a Q&A with members of the cast and crew, a meet-and-greet, and an afterparty.
Fake It Til U Make It
Fake It Til U Make It features Tom Sizemore in his final feature-film performance before his passing.
Described as a comedic “Hollywood Rocky underdog story,” the film follows an unlikely hero navigating an eccentric collection of Hollywood characters while pursuing his dream of becoming a star. Along the way, he attempts to make a movie within the movie, searches for the girl of his dreams, and tackles both endeavors while having very little idea what he is doing.
The film also features performances by Erica Moore, Adam Davis, Jeanette Driver, Dr. Chuck Legend, and veteran comedian and actor Howie Walfish.
Food for Thought
Opening the double feature will be Yevish’s new short film, Food for Thought, featuring Andrew PC Yevish, actress and co-producer Kristine Kay Larsen, Janet Lopez, and Sierra Storms.
The ensemble also includes Evan Camacho and Natalie Lymor as a combative Persian couple whose relationship provides some of the film’s liveliest exchanges. Howie Walfish and John J. Barleycorn appear as the contrasting “Mr. Negative” and “Mr. Positive,” while character actor David Moskowitz portrays the mysterious restaurateur, Youseff.
“Exquisite food with complicated people.”
That tagline sets the tone for the light drama-comedy, in which four couples enter a restaurant for what appears to be an ordinary evening. Through their conversations, disagreements and revelations, their stories begin to follow an unexpected arc reflecting relationships, identity, choices and life itself.
