Quynh Paris’ Feeling Collection Show at Style Fashion Week

On Saturday, October 17th, noted international fashion designer Quynh Paris debuted her vibrant new spring-summer 2016 “Feeling” collection at the prominent Style Fashion Week at the Reef in downtown LA. Quynh also debuted her versatile yet glam Ready-to-wear collection.

This evocative style of this line is what many fashionistas and tastemakers call the typically cool Quynh Paris style; asymmetric, structured, 3D, artistic, romantic yet oh so modern. Dare I say it was even futuristic!

Quynh really wanted to capture the powerful essence of dual sides of emotions hence the inspiration behind the “Feeling” collection. “I wanted to convey the darkness and the light. The dual sides of being a woman…being strong but feminine. Powerful but gentle. Sexy but classy,” declared Quynh. Quynh’s line really echoed that daring and tricky theme in her super cool ready-to-wear line. One could go from day to night in that line depending on how one accessorized and wore her hair and makeup.

“I absolutely love Quynh’s designs! Every dress i try on fits perfectly and hugs all of the right places. I feel beautiful, soft and feminine yet strong, sexy and empowered at the same time in every Quynh Paris dress I wear,” declared actress Danielle Vasinova.

“I become more in tune with my feminine form no matter what my shape,” says actress Andrea Anderson. “The flowers in her designs empower me. I feel like I’m literally blooming as I wear the gown,” she added.

Her couture line is perfect for spring as it’s reminiscent of flowers in bloom and Quynh is truly inspired by nature. “I wanted my designs for this line to be like flowers growing in a field. Blossoming and blooming,” added Quynh.

“We love her so much and I’m totally obsessed with her line and I’m excited about her ready-to-wear line, which I know will sell really well. I love how it’s conservative but sexy. Stylish yet versatile. She really wowed me! I just want the whole line,” said a very excited Veronica Kerzner, founder of Style Fashion Week.

I love how both lines, while diametrically different capture the futuristic style of Quynh’s design esthetic. She keeps it exciting, fancy, bold and fresh!

It’s been quite a whirlwind year for Quynh! She was the headliner of opening night of New York Fashion Week. And actress Blanca Blanco wore a bold and show stopping gown of Quynh’s at the Oscars, which was the stand out gown of the night. Talk about an outfit of the day! So Quynh is definitely now an It-girl of international fashion!

Quynh’s line this season is reminiscent of many things, namely nature and what bright colors spring will bring. “I’m inspired by nature and these designs convey how much this season means to me,” said Quynh.

Quynh is a globetrotter. A Switzerland national that is originally from Vietnam, she graduated from Mod’ Art International Fashion School in Paris, the epicenter of fashion, and has already showcased her memorable collections such varied cities as Paris, Saigon, Los Angeles, and now New York City.

Ever the artist, Quynh is also an accomplished painter, dancer and violinist before becoming a fashion designer, and she incorporates her love of these art forms in her stylish couture collections with volume, asymmetric constructions, 3D sculpture structures that have a life of their own, as well as fluid movements, painting and her use of rich colors and intricate details.

She is Fashion Asia’s 2013 Top 5 fashion designer in haute couture. Quynh’s couture pieces have been worn by numerous pageant contest winners and contestants, top models and international celebrities. She has even been a judge herself at fashion graduation shows, fashion design or pageant contacts, particularly Miss Earth Pageant.

Recently she has been the exclusive costume designer of Mozart’s renowned opera “The Magic Flute” where she let her multicultural artistic creativity express itself.

Loving arts in all forms, she is about to be the exclusive costume designer for an eclectic Circus – Art performance show and once again for the opera “Carmen”.
