San Gabriel, California – November 5, 2025 — The Hollywood Press Corps had the pleasure of attending a mesmerizing concert last night at the historic San Gabriel Mission Playhouse, where the indie folk-pop band Lord Huron took the stage to deliver an unforgettable performance.
Nestled in the charming foothills north of Los Angeles, the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse, adorned with Aztec and Mayan designs, provided a backdrop for the evening. As concertgoers filled the venue, anticipation buzzed in the air, elevating the excitement.

From the moment the doors opened, the atmosphere was electric. Fans awaited the start of the show, and at 8 PM, they were rewarded with a concert that had everyone on their feet, dancing and singing along to the band’s hits. It seemed like everybody knew all of the words to each song!
Led by the charismatic Ben Schneider, Lord Huron brought their signature dreamy sound to life. With a lineup that includes Mark Barry on drums, Miguel Briseño on bass and keyboard, and Tom Renaud on guitar, the band showcased a perfect blend of talent and artistry. Schneider’s unique delivery between songs added a funky flair, engaging the audience with stories and reflections that resonated deeply.
The repertoire featured tracks from their discography, including favorites from their latest album, The Cosmic Selector Vol. 1, released earlier this year. The crowd knew every word, turning the concert into an anthem of nostalgia and joy — a true soundtrack to their summer.

It was clear that Lord Huron’s music transcended mere performance; it created a shared experience, uniting fans through rhythm and melody. With the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse’s rich history and architecture, the venue proved to be the ideal location for this remarkable event.

The Hollywood Press Corps left the concert buzzing, reflecting on a night filled with passion, artistry, and community. Lord Huron’s performance not only highlighted their musical prowess but also reinforced the magic of live music in bringing people together.
