The dress code melded with the theme of the erotic dance of tango with the ladies wearing red and black and the gentlemen wearing black suits and ties.

The dancers for this event were styled by Marleney Aleman and designers Sahar Amiry of Sanya Demure and Anna Sycz showcased their beautiful designs in an upbeat fashion show.

The Sanya Demure line is sexy yet conservative, playful yet refined and elegant while the Contessa brand was super sexy glam with lace, sequins and a whole lot of skin showing.

Ladygunn Magazine had their #11 Issue Launch Party at the trendy Roof at the Standard in Downtown LA. Actresses Brittany Snow, Chrissie Fit and many others celebrity guests were in attendance. The popular band, The Relationship, performed for the audience and the DJ spun some great tunes. Sponsors for the event were the Organic Face, The Style Club and Tristan + Trista.

I recently went to jewelry designer JARED JAMIN’s debut of his men’s jewelry collection at a new men’s retail showroom called Choukair on the glamorous Sunset Strip. This popular LA-based designer whose jewelry graces celebs such as Kylie & Kendall Jenner, Demi Lovato, Carly Rae Jepsen and Lady Gaga, and appears in Marie Claire, Schoën and Harper’s Bazaar, is taking cues from compliments received on his personal style and incorporating it into this wonderful new line. This collection consists of beautiful gemstone beads, leather, paracord, wood and horn materials with precious metal components.

Director and Producer, Founder of The Hollywood Short Film Festival, Mark Mos, held the festival’s awards ceremony at Sal’s Comedy Hole on popular Melrose Avenue on February 21st. He hosted the event with actress and comedienne Tanya Estrada.

Lovesick Fool, a film which I voiced two roles in, won best animated film at this prestigious festival. This film was written and directed by Dominic Polcino (The Simpons, King of the Hill, Family Guy) and it starred Lisa Kudrow, Fred Willard and Janeane Garofalo.

This year there were many quality films screened at the festival and the judges were Craig Hutchison (Director/Producer), Chris Ramirez (Director/Producer), Natalia Nova (Director/Producer). These films were short dramas, comedies, documentaries, animated films and more.

“We got to screen some great films. It was time well spent for moviegoers attending the festival,” said Mos, who is also a filmmaker with 150 movie credits under his belt. Ever the diehard supporter of films, Mos also created the Sunset Film Festival and the LA Short Film Festival.
