SHOUT OUT!® Apparel made a big splash among the younger set at Art Hearts Fashion (AHF) in conjunction with Parker Whitaker Productions this spring. This creative T-shirt line was the brainchild of talented actor Colin Egglesfield, who starred in the blockbuster hit film, “Something Borrowed” opposite Kate Hudson and Ginnifer Goodwin. It’s a fun, dynamic, wearable form of individual expression for kids ages 4-10. SHOUT OUT!® shirts have interchangeable ‘Velcro’-type letters, numbers and symbols that kids can arrange to send a different message every time they wear it. They can easily Shout Out! their thoughts on the dialogue- bubble message area on the front and the strip on the back. Each SHOUT OUT!® shirt comes with three copies of letters and numbers and one copy of each symbol – that’s 108 total characters to say exactly what you want to!
SHOUT OUT!® Apparel came about Colin’s charitable work with ‘The Door’, a Manhattan-based youth center for at risk teens, he saw first-hand how a little encouragement, recognition and support can go a long way in helping someone discover their unique voice and cultivate the courage to share it with the world. This inspired him to create SHOUT OUT!® so that anyone could have a platform for self-expression. Ever the inspiring artist, Colin is passionate about encouraging kids to find their voice, inspiring them to be self-confident, and teaching them to embrace their uniqueness. I recently went to jewelry designer JARED JAMIN’s debut of his men’s jewelry collection at a new men’s retail showroom called Choukair on the glamorous Sunset Strip. This popular LA-based designer whose jewelry graces celebs such as Kylie & Kendall Jenner, Demi Lovato, Carly Rae Jepsen and Lady Gaga, and appears in Marie Claire, Schoën and Harper’s Bazaar, is taking cues from compliments received on his personal style and incorporating it into this wonderful new line. This collection consists of beautiful gemstone beads, leather, paracord, wood and horn materials with precious metal components.
“I feel like it’s a great accomplishment to work with raw materials. People really like finding out that all my jewelry is made locally. As an artist, it’s a real reward to go from zero to a party to celebrate this mens collection launch. It’s great,” said JAMIN.
“What I like about the line is that JARED can make a design out of whatever you want. It’s personalized and he makes it versatile and collectible,” added Charles Choukair.
The JARED JAMIN men’s jewelry collection, the store’s first, has been paired with stylish clothing curated by owners Brad Davis and Charlie Choukair. The Italian, Dutch and German men’s clothing lines: CoSTUME NATIONAL HOMME, David Mayer Naman, GStar-RAW, Antony Morato, Low Brand, Gourmet Shoes as well as Daniele Alessandrini and Drykörn for Beautiful People, the last two of which are carried exclusively by Choukair in the U.S., make the clothing decidedly European and incredibly fashionable.
